Whitney Weathers, M.Ed. based near Kansas City, Missouri, Whitney Weathers is the owner and lead consultant of Whitney Weathers Consulting, LLC. In this role, she partners with key stakeholders to create inclusive workplace cultures. A certified equity practitioner, Whitney’s specific emphasis is on dismantling barriers for employees from historically underrepresented identities while also developing leaders to combat inequity.


Whitney is a doctoral candidate at Nazarene Theological Seminary. Her research focuses on belonging and inclusion for Black women on predominantly white seminary campuses. She is the founder of the school's Black Student Union and is passionate about working with school leadership to disrupt exclusionary practices for students of color. Whitney holds degrees from Vanderbilt University (Urban Education) and Tennessee State University (English). She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.


An award-winning educator, Whitney has been recognized for her impactful work with students from historically marginalized communities. Her work has been featured on National Public Radio , K12Dive, and Colorado Public Radio.


Outside of her professional endeavors, Whitney is the mom of four amazing kiddos and one amazing husband. When she’s not advocating for social justice, she enjoys reading, writing, and cooking.
