Adva Weinstein is a multidisciplinary performance maker and cultural entrepreneur. Her performance works, which have toured in Israel and overseas, are largely interactive and place the interpersonal encounter at the center of the artistic experience. As an entrepreneur, she has over two decades of experience in managing and producing artistic projects and organizations, among them at the Israel Festival, the Train Theater and the Rama Choir. Today, she is the CEO of Beit System Ali - a cultural activism NGO - and the director of the Ramat Eliyahu Art Workshop, a center for contemporary art, education and community.
As a researcher, she studies and writes about collectives and shared practice. She works as a dramaturg with other artists on their works, is the artistic director of various projects, and facilitates the “Ball Game” - a training practice for embodying presence, awareness, openness and energetic sensitivity in performers and artists.
