Yankalle Filtser is a choreographer, dance teacher, and performer.
Yankalle has taught in universities, dance centers, and professional
training programs worldwide, including USC Kaufman, Chapman
University, Les Hivernales – CDCN, and various professional training programs. He has presented varied choreographic works internationally with support from the Israeli Ministry of Culture and leading arts foundations. A certified Gaga teacher and member of the Israeli Choreographers Association, Yankalle is the founder and former artistic director of the As Is Festival, mentoring young choreographers and supporting emerging creation. His works focus on physical clarity and an exploratory approach, with creations influenced by life experiences, diverse cultures, and a
collaboration.

Yankelle will be in residence at Kennesaw State University in Atlanta during the Fall
2025 semester.
